OFFICIAL: BUSH IS A DRAG

Congratulations to the two new governor-elects of New Jersey & Virginia who both happen to be Democrat. :-)

It is amusing to see Republican candidates try to avoid Bush in fear of falling victim to the Prez's low poll numbers but at the same time not wanting to appear to snub Bush. Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Kilgore did just that in his campaign and at the last minute gambled by appearing with Bush at a rally 12 hours before the polls opened. Needless to say Kilgore lost his wager.

The Wall Street Journal Online has an interesting article quoting University of Virginia professor & political analyst, Larry Sabato, stating "If the Democrats win (NJ & VA) it's one more indication that Bush is a significant drag on Republican candidates."

I couldn't agree with you more Mr. Sabato. Bush is a drag.
