Bloated & Unsympathetic...

... are two words that come to mind when I think of Congressional Republicans these days.

Who is the Republican brainiac that came up with the idea to offer motorists a whopping $100 to help offset higher gas prices? I'm sure we won't hear who specifically came up with this bonehead idea but I can tell you who THINKS it is a good idea!

When was the last time these Republican "leaders" filled up their gas tank? Okay. Lets say we do get $100. That will get me 1 1/2 weeks worth of gas at current prices.

And that is just it. Any rebate is just going to go right back into our gas tanks and into the wallet of big oil. Sounds like a $10 billion dollar raid on the national treasury to aid the oil companies (aka. Republican backers).

Bravo! Our Republican representatives have found yet another way to avoid taking appropriate action and instead enrich the bloated oil companies.
